About Blender VFX

BlenderVFX is dedicated to promoting Blender 3D for visual effects, motion graphics and professional compositing. While there are a lot of great resources out there on how to use Blender 3D, there’s not a lot of content focused on how to actually make Blender work in a professional 3D pipeline and how to use Blender 3D for visual effects and motion graphics. That’s the goal here.

BlenderVFX.com will feature tutorials, quick tips, cheat sheets, guides, book reviews – maybe even an ongoing workshop or community project. If you have any ideas or questions, or topics you feel should be featured on the site, contact Nate.

Nate Sullivan (aka IrishSpacemonk), is a Blender 3D enthusiast, film maker, animator, and motion graphics artist who designs interactive stuff during the day. He’s been working professionally as a digital designer for over 8 years and is always looking for ways to integrate Blender into his workflow. While nowhere close to an expert (there’s always too much to learn with Blender right?), he does have a passion for all things 3D, animation and storytelling, and for sharing that with other Blender users, new and old.
